New Delhi: About 17,000 candidates have registered for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes category and around 450 for physically disabled quota as Delhi University completed its registration process for these categories, a university official said on Wednesday.
"The university also concluded its open days today (Wednesday) and more than 20,000 prospective candidates and their parents have benefited in thespan of 12 days," the official said.
The 'E-Open Days' available on the university's website also have been quite successful. In addition, three successful web chat sessions among professors and aspirants, which were conducted on June 3, 6 and 8, have been completed too, he added.
"Next web chat will be held on June 10. This year the university also appeared on Facebook and the response has been very enthusiastic with over 86,000 followers," said the official.
