Last date for EWS admission now extended to May 10

The last date of admission for the Economically weaker section (EWS) students has beenextended to May 10, by the Municipal corporation of Delhi on Thursday. Education committee chairman, Mahindra Nagpal said the decision to extent the last date, which previously stood at February 15, was extended for the benefit of parents who were unable to procure the documents required for the purpose. A child whose parents earn less than 1 lakh per annum and have been staying in Delhi for the last three years, comes under the EWS category.
