Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) offer various engineering degree courses to those students who are unable to pursue these through regular courses in engineering colleges. For admission to AMIE’s engineering degree courses an entrance test is conducted by Institution of Engineers, India (IEI). The courses of AMIE are generally equivalent to B.E/B.Tech courses of AICTE/ government of India/ other states.
Courses
AMIE offer various engineering degree programmes in two sections ? section A and section B.
Section A
Course coming under Section A is further divided into Diploma and Non-Diploma Stream as mentioned below.

2. Bachelor of Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
3. First year examination of the 5 year integrated engineering degree program or pre or pre-professional examination in engineering.
4. Final examination of 10 + 2 +3 system with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by any state board/ other boards/ universities after 10 years of formal school education.
5. Any equivalent examination of the above said qualifying exam.
- For all these candidates a pass in English is mandatory and aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be at least 45%.
