Getting graduate jobs in IBM, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys and certain similar companies are the most dreamt about graduate jobs for a graduate just passing out of college. However, getting a job in these companies is not at all easy as the latter want both theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the subject. The Indian education system is such that apart from engineering, there are hardly any streams where students get practical training. The issue of vocational training in Indian colleges has been a matter of debate for very long.
There are graduate jobs that give graduates a respectable work culture along with a good salary. It's just that students should start looking at the right places. One way to eliminate competition is to use the cover letter of one's resume or CV properly. Even without a face to face interview, the cover letter may carry an impression of a graduate's personality. Being proactive is the best way to get good graduate jobs. To get satisfying graduate jobs, one also needs to have an optimistic attitude. It's the key to success in the field of marketing oneself.
Finding graduate jobs is very difficult and especially with the recent downturn in the economies of most of the world, landing graduate jobs has become even more difficult. Posting one's resume or CV on some job searching sites does not yield the same response as before. The only jobs that are available are in call centres and some secretarial positions. A job recruiter is basically an avenue who does all the dirty work for a graduate in search of graduate jobs. However, it's very important to figure out what kind of job one needs and find out an appropriate job recruiter for it.
To get good graduate jobs, having a good cover later and a balance between one's educational achievements and the extra curricular achievements in one's resume plays a very important part. Graduate jobs like a job in the sales industry or even being an accountant's assistant are the most available graduate jobs at present. One way to eliminate competition is to use the cover letter of one's resume or CV properly. Even without a face to face interview, the cover letter may carry an impression of a graduate's personality. For getting good graduate jobs, students should try to use their cover letter as a sales pitch.
Instead of just sitting idle and waiting for companies to reply to our online applications, interested graduate candidates should find out the e-mail ids or phone numbers of the Human Resource managers. Human Resource managers help in providing good graduate jobs as they give an estimate of the requirements of the respective companies and one can market himself or herself in such a way.The best way to land good graduate jobs is to follow certain rules. Making a good impression, always trying to do better, keeping on learning, making oneself heard and believing in whatever one does are the golden rules to successfully get employment and hence the graduate jobs.
